ELKO, Nev. (AP) - Authorities in Elko County says they've arrested three suspects and seized as many as 1,000 marijuana plants from an illegal farm north of Wells.
Elko County Undersheriff Clair Morris tells KELK-radio that the grow was reported by a hunter earlier this week.
Local, state and federal agents early Wednesday raided the remote operation on public lands located some 25-miles north of Wells off Highway 93.
Authorities have not yet identified the suspects in custody and say they are searching for as many as three others who escaped as officers closed in.
