RENO, NV - Postal workers rallied outside the federal building in downtown Reno Tuesday. The workers are protesting potential layoffs and facility closures as the postal services struggles with losses.
Workers also urged support for a bill that would remove a mandate to pre-fund retirement benefits, which they hope would prevent closures.
The postal service is reviewing whether to keep a Reno mail distribution center open. Workers said its closure would put hundreds out of work and mean slower delivery.
