Police Looking for Suspected Elderly Tahoe Bank Robber

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA - Police need the public's help in finding an elderly man suspected of robbing a bank in South Lake Tahoe Monday.

It happened around 11:25 a.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank inside Raley’s located at 4010 Lake Tahoe Blvd. Police believe it was robbed by an elderly white man.

According to police, the elderly robber walked up to the teller and demanded cash.

No weapon was threatened or seen during the robbery. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and walked away from the bank and out of Raley’s. He was last seen walking east from the shopping
center toward the area of Heavenly Village Way and Bellamy Ct.

The suspect is described as being a white male adult, late 50’s early 60’s, approximately 6’ 0” tall, skinny build, wearing a tan “touring” type hat, tan jacket, and khaki pants. The suspect was wearing prescription glasses.
