Police Arrest Two Teens in Early Morning Vehicle Burglary

Two 17-year-old male teens have been arrested after being caught breaking into cars early Saturday morning in south Reno.

Reno Police Department officers arrived at the area of Boynton Lane and Weeping Willow Ct. around 3:40 a.m. after receiving reports of two subjects breaking into parked cars and stealing electronics. The suspects tried to get away on foot, but were soon caught by RPD.

The stolen property was recovered and returned to its owner.

Reno Police is urging residents to help prevent theft by locking their cars and taking out any valuable items.
