Police: Arrest Made in Wells Fargo Robbery

One man is in custody after robbing a Wells Fargo Bank Saturday afternoon.

According to Reno Police, officers responded to the report of a robbery at the Wells Fargo at 4045 S. Virginia St. just after 1:00 p.m. After witnesses described the getaway car, officers located and pulled over the suspect.

The driver, 63-year-old Mark Verloop, was identified as the bank robber. Police recovered the lost money and evidence of the crime.

The FBI assisted in the investigation and eventually arrested Verloop for Bank Robbery.
