Police Release Sketch of Marina Attack Suspect

SPARKS, NV - Sparks police have released a sketch of the man suspect of attacking a woman near the Sparks Marina on October 29th.

They think the 51-year-old victim was targeted because she was working alone at Krch Realty on the east side of the marina. Because of the brutality of the attack, police think the man was trying to kill the victim. Investigators think there may have been witnesses to the the attack. They are eager to speak with anyone who can help track down the suspect. Police say the woman is expected to survive.

The suspect is described as a black man with a medium complexion. He is in his mid- to late-twenties, weighing 170 to 200 pounds. He is between 5'8" and 5'10" tall. At the time of the attack he was wearing a blue-gray hooded sweatshirt with a triangle shaped emblem on the upper left. He was also wearing gray slacks. He may have left in a white car with dark windows.

A $1,000 reward has been offered for information that will put the attacker behind bars.
