RENO, NV - Reno police have arrested two people in connection with a series of robberies.
One arrest was made after one of the suspects, Marcel Williams, was involved in a standoff Wednesday afternoon at a Wedekind Road apartment complex.
Williams is now charged along with Cecil Booker, arrested June 1, in robberies of the 7-11's on Grove Street and Silverada Boulevard on May 17, plus the Game Force videogame store on May 19 and the 7-11 on Sutro Street on May 29.
Booker is being linked only with the Game Force robbery, while Williams is charged with all four.
Booker is charged with burglary, robbery with use of a deadly weapon, false imprisonment with a deadly weapon, grand larceny of auto, and possession of a gun by a prohibited person. His bail is $160,000.
Williams is charged with burglary while in possession of a gun, robbery with the use of a deadly weapon, false imprisonment with a deadly weapon, grand larceny of auto, possession of a gun by a prohibited person. His bail is set at $400,000. He also has a warrant out of Sacramento for a Failure to Appear regarding a robbery.
