Police Look for Attempted Robbers in Sparks

SPARKS, NV - Sparks police are looking for two people who tried to rob the Dollar Plus and Mini Mart at 660 Greenbrae Drive. Secret witness is offering $500 for information leading to arrests and prosecutions.

Police say they responded to a report of a disturbance there Saturday night at 7:15. They say one person distracted the clerk while a second person tried to steal things from behind the counter. The clerk got into a struggle with that second person and got a small cut above an eye. Both attempted robbers then ran, dropping everything they were trying to steal.

Police say they are looking for white males who are 5'8" to 5'10" tall, weighing about 200-220 pounds. One was wearing a black t-shirt and jeans, and the second wearing a dark shirt and shorts and a baseball cap. Their ages are unknown.
