CARSON CITY, NV - A Dayton woman has been booked for felony hit-and-run causing death and driving on a suspended license after a deadly crash late Sunday night.
NHP troopers say about 11PM, 27-year-old Celeste Santens was hit and killed on US50 near Airport Road while crossing the street, not in a crosswalk. The driver then drove off.
The Explorer that hit her was found early Monday in Dayton, with 48-year-old Cynthia Munroe inside. Munroe was booked at the Carson City Sheriff's Office and released after posting bond on $10,000 bail.
