Police Investigate Early Morning Armed Robberies

RENO, NV - Reno police are on the lookout for one man suspected of robbing an AP/PM.

Police say the robbery happened around 12:38AM Tuesday at the store at 6190 South Virginia Street.

Police say the man entered the store and pointed a dark handgun at the clerk. The man got away with cash.

The man was wearing a mask at the time of the robbery as well as sunglasses, and the only other description police have is that he is a white male between 5’8 and 5’10” tall with a medium build. He was also wearing a light blue hooded sweatshirt.

Shortly before 5AM, a man walked in the Lucky Gofer market at 110 E. 2nd Street. He made a purchase, and while paying, produced a black handgun, robbing the clerk of the cash in the register. The man then fled the area north on Center Street. The clerk says this man is the same person who had robbed him about two weeks ago.

He is black and roughly in his mid-twenties, 5'9' and skinny with a goatee. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and faded jeans with white pockets and metal studs on the outside, with a white belt and a black and white striped beanie cap.
