RENO, NV - Reno police are still investigating a car versus pedestrian accident that happened in downtown Reno around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say the pedestrian apparently was not in a crosswalk when she was hit by the male driver, who was driving south on Virginia Street when he hit the woman. The victim was taken to Renown, where she was treated and released.
Right now, police don't know if alcohol, drugs or speed played a factor. No one has been charged, and names haven't been released for the driver or victim.
