RENO, NV - Reno police are investigating a crash that seriously injuried a pedestrian Saturday night.
At 10:41PM, they were called to the intersection of Wells Avenue and Thoma Street on a report of a Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Accident.
Evidence indicates the pedestrian had crossed Wells Avenue over a heavily vegetated median and was struck by a vehicle after exiting the median on the other side. The pedestrian was not in a crosswalk and was transported to a local hospital with major injuries.
Police talked with the driver on scene, but have not made any arrests. They say the pedestrian may have been drinking.
No names have been released.
