RENO, NV - Reno police are investigating a crash that seriously injuried a pedestrian Saturday night.
At 10:41PM, they were called to the intersection of Wells Avenue and Thoma Street on a report of a Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Accident.
Evidence indicates the pedestrian had crossed Wells Avenue over a heavily vegetated median and was struck by a vehicle after exiting the median on the other side. The pedestrian was not in a crosswalk and was transported to a local hospital with major injuries.
Police talked with the driver on scene, but have not made any arrests. They say the pedestrian may have been drinking.
