Incline Village - Diamond Peak is officially open for the season.
On Thursday, it operated three chairlifts. General Manager Brad Wilson says this season is already looking better than the last one. Because of the storms we've already had this winter, the resort doesn't have to rely so much on its snowmaking operations.
Right now, the resort has about 25% of its mountain open to skiers and riders. They hope to open up more terrain by this weekend. The general manager says he's looking for more snow to dump during the weekend storms.
