One Arrested After Shots Fired in Nugget Parking Garage

SPARKS, NV - One man was arrested after firing shots toward a car in the Nugget parking garage Friday night.

According to Sparks police, 24-year-old Tony Llamas was walking with three others inside the garage when the group got into a argument with two others inside a truck. A physical fight was started after one of the walking individuals struck one who was in the truck.

A member of the walking group then pulled out a handgun and fired toward the truck.

No one was injured by the shots fired.

Police responded just after 10:30 p.m. While they were reviewing video and speaking with witnesses, a car drove by containing the group who had been on foot. A witness let the officers know, and they soon detained the suspects and also recovered the handgun.

Upon interviewing the subjects, Llamas was arrested and charged with Aiming a Firearm at a Human Being, Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Contributing to the Delinquency of Minors.
