RENO, NV - One person is dead after a crash on Sutro Street near Hug High School Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened around 3PM between two vehicles, an SUV and a smaller car, at the intersection with Paintbrush Drive. Police say it looks like the driver of a Geo Prizm was headed the wrong direction and collided with the SUV. The driver of the Geo was killed; three people from the SUV were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

Sutro was closed for a time between McCarran and Wedekind. Police are still investigating.

The victim's name has not been released.
