CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) - The Nevada Division of Water Resources will be fanning out across rural northern Nevada to measure groundwater levels.
The agency says staff with the division will be measuring water levels in wells throughout various hydrographic basins within Washoe, Humboldt, Pershing, Lander, Elko, Eureka and White Pine counties.
Testing will begin in March and continue into April.
Officials say the water levels will be measured primarily in irrigation and stock wells.
