Gardnerville, NV - Five model homes were just completed in a housing subdivision called The Ranch at Gardnerville. The developer is hoping in the next few years to build about 600 single family homes in the area, off Gilman Avenue and Highway 395.
"We have paid a lot of attention to the local real estate community, the developers, and the inventory in Douglas County has depleted significantly to a point where we can justify putting new homes on the market," says William Fergus, Jr., spokesperson for Wealth Strategies Development Inc., the developer.
The three-to-four bedroom single family homes will be priced between $239,000 and $329,999.
The developer estimates construction will create about 300 jobs in the area.
