Democrats outnumbered Republicans in Nevada's final tally of registered voters for the 2012 election, but a significant percentage of the those signed up to vote chose Non Partisan.
Secretary of State Ross Miller tweeted the final numbers this afternoon, which show statewide 1,257,621 Nevadans are eligible to begin voting as early as this weekend.
The party breakdown puts the number Democrats at 526,986 (41.9%),
Republicans 436,799 (34.73%) and Non Partisans at 219,299 (17.44%)
Miller also tweeted the following:
"Number of registered voters up an astounding 138,045 compared with 2010 & up by 49,860 compared with 2008"
Early voting begins in Nevada on Saturday, and those who are registered, but in need of an absentee ballot have a few more days in order to do so.
