RENO, NV - Are you in the market for adopting a pet? Want a chance at adopting one for free?

The Nevada Humane Society is hosting "Wheel of FURtune" from September 24 through September 30, 2013.

Those adopting a pet can spin the Wheel of FURtune for a chance at winning prizes, reduced adoption fees, or the adopted pet for free, according to an official with the Nevada Humane Society.

Pets included in this promotion are dogs, cats, kittens and rabbits. Adoption fees are free when a cat over three years old is adopted, according to an official with the Nevada Humane Society.

Nevada Humane Society officials say dogs and cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption. Rabbits are also spayed or neutered.

The Nevada Humane Society is located at 2825 Longley Lane. It is open Sunday through Friday from 11:00 a.m.to 6:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
