National Atomic Testing Museum Honored

LAS VEGAS (AP) - U.S. Sen. Harry Reid will take part in honoring the National Atomic Testing Museum in Las Vegas as the newest "national" museum. The ceremony to make the name official is set for 10 a.m. Friday, which coincides with the observation of Nevada Day and the National Day of Remembrance.

The museum's exhibits focus on the history of the development and testing of a nuclear bomb. It's the 37th museum in the country to earn the official "national" designation.
