Mt. Rose Highway Back Open After Extrication Accident, DUI Suspected

RENO, NV - Mt. Rose Highway was closed for a short time after an extrication accident late monday night.

The accident happened around 8:30, when a white SUV traveling westbound on Mt. Rose Highway near Thomas Creek entered the intersection and collided with a black Dodge Caliber which was trying to make a left turn in front if the SUV, the SUV had the right of way.

The driver of the white SUV was taken to the hospital, and the driver of the black Dodge was arrested for suspicion of DUI.
