RENO, NV - Reno police are investigating a crash that killed a Sparks man Wednesday afternoon.
About 3:30, the motorcyclist and a van collided at Holcomb and Cheney in midtown. 26-year-old Ashton Pike, whose name was released by Reno police Thursday afternoon, was killed. The driver of the van was not hurt.
Police say it looks like the driver of the van turned in front of the biker, violating the motorcyclist's right of way. No charges have been determined at this point, and police say they don't know whether alcohol or other drugs were a factor.
