Reno Tahoe International Airport announced American Airlines plans to add additional service from the airport just in time for summer travel.
The airport says American Airlines will increased service to Los Angeles from 4 daily flights to 5 on a Sunday-Monday-Thursday, Friday basis.
The increased number of flights to L.A. has no end date.
Additional flights to Dallas-Forth Worth from Reno will mean three daily departures from June 11 to August 18.
American will increase its service to Chicago O'Hare to 2 daily flights during that time as well.
Also U.S. Airways, will increase the number of daily non-stop departures to Phoenix from 4 to 6 beginning June 1.
Airport Authority President and CEO Marily Mora says, "Just in time for the busy summer months, American Airlines has recognized the demand for increased service and it is up to the community to support these flights."
