From KOLO 8 Weather Now... The National Weather Service in Reno has issued a Wind Advisory. A wind advisory will be in effect from 8 AM until 11 PM on Thursday.

Monday morning snow on track for the valley floor!

Tonight: A slight chance of rain before 7pm, then a slight chance of rain and snow between 7pm and 10pm, then snow likely after 10pm. Cloudy, with a low around 31. West wind between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Monday: Snow. High near 34. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Monday Night: A 50 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 23. North wind around 10 mph. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of snow showers, mainly before 10am. Partly sunny, with a high near 42. North wind between 5 and 10 mph. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Tuesday Night: A 20 percent chance of snow showers after 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 24. West wind around 5 mph.

Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of snow showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 37.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 24.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 50.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 29.
