RENO, NV - Mothers are special people. Sunday at Reno High School, hundreds of people gathered to express their gratitude and get some exercise as part of the 14th Annual Moms on the Run.
For the past thirteen years Moms On The Run has been raising funds to aid the needs of women in Northern Nevada fighting cancer.
"We continue our goal of helping local women fight cancer," said Jim Minor, president of the organization. "It is truly a wonderful way to help women during treatment for this terrible disease and all funds stay in northern Nevada."
There is a 3k/5k for walkers and a 5k/10k for runners.
