Missing Teen Back in South Carolina

UPDATE: On the afternoon of Friday, July 19, 2013, the South Lake Tahoe Police Department got information from the Mt. Pleasant Police Department in South Carolina that its investigation confirms Autumn Ellison's return to South Carolina.

Ellison still hasn't specifically been tracked, but police say she is no longer in the northern Nevada/Tahoe area and is back in her home state.


SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA – South Lake Tahoe Police need your help finding a missing teen. 16-year-old Autumn Ellison was last seen on July 7th in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, but officials believe she could be in the Reno area. South Carolina police believe Ellison does not want to be located or identified, and will likely provide a false name and/or ID documents to authorities. They also believe she may be at risk, but details related to what type of risk have not yet been specified to SLTPD.

Ellison is white, 5’1” and 100 pounds, with long brown hair and blue eyes. She does not have a vehicle or cell phone.
