RENO, NV – Reno Mayor Bob Cashell is recovering from a planned open heart surgery, according to a spokesperson for the Mayor.
The surgery was performed Tuesday at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center. Mayor Cashell had a heart valve replaced. The spokesperson tells us this was a common and routine surgery.
We are told Mayor Cashell is resting comfortably and is expected to make a full recovery.
