RENO, Nev. - Art Source gallery in South Reno will host an art exhibit throughout August to commemorate the 50 anniversary of Marilyn Monroe's death by celebrating her life.
The exhibit opens with a champagne reception from 4 to 8 p.m., Sat., Aug 4. and will showcase hundreds of vibrant and rare photos spanning the actress' life and career.
The proceeds from the art sales will benefit the Children's Cabinet's Gang Reduction Alternatives for Success Program (GRASP) and Alternative to Drug and Alcohol Prevention and Treatment program.
The exhibit is open to the public for viewing throughout August at Art Source Gallery at 9748 S. Virginia St., Building E in Reno.
