Reno, NV - Around 10pm last night a local Reno man was struck by a vehicle. The accident happened in the area of North Sierra and East 10th Street.
The driver was heading south bound on North Sierra Street when the pedestrian heading west bound was struck in the cross walk.
The 21 year-old pedestrian was transported to Renown with non-life threathening injuries.
The 18 year-old driver was cited for failing to yield the right of way to a pedestrian in a cross walk.
The Reno Police Department would like to remind drivers to stay alert for pedestrians crossing the road, as well as to remind pedestrians to use caution while crossing the street.
