RENO, Nev. - Reno Police are investigating a road rage situation that occurred around 7:30 p.m., Thu., in the area of Kietzke and Peckham Lane that left a 43-year-old man with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
According to the victim and the driver of the vehicle in which he was a passenger, they were heading west on McCarran toward S. Virginia Street when they were cut off by another vehicle.
This led to some careless driving which ended in the area of Kietzke and Peckham. The suspect fired several shots into the victim's car before fleeing.
The suspect was last seen driving in the area of Virginia Street near Hubbard Way.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and is expected to recover. Police are seeking the help of the public in locating possible witnesses to the crime.
