RENO, NV - Reno police quickly arrested a man for armed robbery Thursday afternoon.
About 2pm, the man walked into Top Hat Cleaners on California Avenue, showed a gun to the clerk, and demanded cash. When he got it, he drove off.
Police were in the area watching for criminal activity because of other recent robberies, and they watched him leave the store. They arrested him after watching him throw away some of the evidence.
31-year-old Shawn Goode is being held in lieu of $45,000 bail after being connected to two other robberies in the last week, at Mikado Cleaners on Washington Street and Rounds Bakery on South McCarran Boulevard.
