RENO, NV - Reno police say a man has serious injuries after being hit by a car while riding a bicycle Monday night.
It happened just before 8 p.m. on Sutro Street at Oliver Street.
Police say it looks like man was riding his bike southbound in the northbound lanes of Sutro Street. He didn't have sufficient safety and lighting equipment when he was hit.
The man was taken to Renown Medical Center.
Police say the driver stayed at the scene of the accident, and is cooperating with the investigation.
