SPARKS, NV - Superman isn't the only hero helping the community. The community can help benefit two charities by watching the screening of "Man of Steel" at IMAX.
On Sunday, February 9, 2014, the public is invited to attend the 3:00 p.m. screening of the 2013 Superman movie "Man of Steel" in IMAX 3D at Galaxy Luxury + IMAX at Legends at Sparks.
Officials say proceeds raised at this screening will benefit Michael Landsberry's family through the Nevada Military Support Alliance.
The public can also benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows by attending the screening on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 7:00 p.m., according to event officials.
Officials say tickets cost $15 and include free popcorn and a soft drink.
Galaxy Luxury+ IMAX Sparks will officially open on Wednesday, Feb. 12 with a 12:01 a.m. screening of “RoboCop” in IMAX.
