SPARKS, NV - A Sparks man has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of a woman who was staying with him.
57-year-old Thomas Brant was convicted in May of killing 51-year-old Kimberly Seaton in December of 2012. Her body was found in a shallow grave in his home on C Street; she had been beaten and strangled.
Police say she had been killed more than a month before her body was found. She had been reported missing by her daughter.
