A local hero who's a Hawthorne native and an Army specialist comes home today. Timothy Hall will be returning later today as he continues his recovery. Hall was severely wounded while serving in Afghanistan. After losing the lower half of his body during a mortar attack, his family tells us he's coming back from his final trip from Walter Reed hospital in Washington D.C. today. His full rehabilitation is expected to take a couple of years. As you may remember technicians at Reno Cycle and Gear and Medtech helped outfit a special A-T-V for Hall complete with special hand controls for him to use.
