RENO, NV - Your next sip of beer could go a long way toward saving someone's life. Brew Brothers inside the Eldorado has created a special beer to support prostate and testicular cancer awareness. As part of 'Movember,' the brewery donated kegs to Craft Wine and Beer, Shenanigans, Foxy Olive, Jungle Vino, Cafe DeLuxe, 775 Gastropub, and Minden Meat and Deli. 100 percent of the proceeds from the beer will go to the 'Movember' charity.
"We've brewed porters in the past but this is a robust porter; it is a little stronger than the usual porter style, and we did a little twist this time and we aged this beer on bourbon vanilla beans," said Greg Hinge, brewmaster for Brew Brothers.
The beer is called 'Papa Sibs Robust Porter,' it's named after one of the organizer's grandfathers, who struggled with prostate cancer.
