RENO, Nev. (AP) - Jury deliberations resume Tuesday in the trial
of a man charged with shooting three supervisors at a Reno Walmart
store where he worked.
The Reno Gazette-Journal reports jurors received the case
Monday. The presiding judge sent them home around 5 p.m. and told
them to return in the morning.
John Gillane pleaded not guilty in January to charges including
attempted murder, assault and battery with a deadly weapon causing
The three managers were wounded but survived the Oct. 29, 2010
attack at the store in northwest Reno.
Gillane eventually surrendered after hours of police
Gillane told investigators he hid in the employee bathroom the
day of the shooting while managers were in a routine meeting.
