RENO, NV - The Nevada Department of Transportation and Granite Construction announced Tuesday they have completed the final traffic work on I-80 from Robb Drive to Vista Boulevard three months ahead of schedule.
I-80 is open with no controls from Robb Drive to Vista Boulevard and the speed limit is 65 MPH. All traffic control from this project will be removed Tuesday night. There will be continued night closures to complete landscape and aesthetics.
The roughly $72M project started last summer. It includes repaving, new lanes and ramp improvements, plus new signs to give drivers estimates about how long it will take to get where they're going
