SPARKS, Nev. -- The annual Sparks Christmas celebrations will soon be underway.
Last weekends wild weather put a pause on the annual Sparks Hometowne Christmas Parade and the lighting of the Sparks Christmas tree. But now, things seem to be back on track.
The tree lighting will be Friday at 6:30 in Victorian Square. There will be free hot chocolate provided by Rail City as well as free cannolis from Grimaldis. There will also be a traditional singalong performance from Living Stones Church.
The Hometowne Christmas Parade will be held Saturday at Victorian Square from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
After the parade, Santa will be at the Glendale Schoolhouse on Victorian Square to take pictures with the little ones.
