Nevada Humane Society is receiving donations at evacuation locations or by calling 856-2000 ext 325. Or you can go to their website at

American Red Cross is accepting donations at To volunteer or for assistance, the Red Cross is available at 856-1000.

Nonperishable, and in-kind donations can go to the Salvation Army Headquarters at 2300 Valley Road, just off of Sutro.

La Fonda de Don Juan Mexican Restaurant, 4385 Neil Rd. is offering a free dinner, starting at 5pm, for all firefighters, police, paramedics, and Red Cross staff and volunteers. Dinner starts at 5pm and goes through 9pm.

Offering 2 MONTHS of FREE storage for all families affected by the fire. Also, will be accepting donations for storage and delivery to all evacuees. Call (775) 425-9500.

Feline Rescue of Northern Nevada is accepting cats displaced. Alot of the kitties are coming in without food or litter. If you have a few dollars to spare donations can be made via Paypal or check call (775) 544-4475.

Local restaurant offering Thanksgiving meals to victims email for more information. Anyone who wants to donate O'skis Pub and Grille located on Victorian in Sparks, NV is the best drop off location along with Applied Soil Water Tech. located on 56 Coney Island Dr.

United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra (UWNNS) has established a Caughlin Fire Fund to assist those impacted by the Caughlin Ranch Fire. Beginning today (Friday, Nov. 18), any donation made through the UWNNS website, or through contacting the UWNNS office, will be directed to this fund with every dollar raised reaching victims impacted by the fire. The UWNNS Caughlin Fire Fund will be used to address immediate and ongoing long-term needs of victims and the community. Donations can be made by visiting or calling 775-322- 8668.

Northern Nevada American Red Cross volunteers will be at the following locations and will be prepared to accept cash and check donations: The locations from 10am – 1pm: The KKOH location will be at the North parking lot at UNR-just north of the main entrance into Mackie Stadium. Look for the KOH RV and the KOH flag at the front of the parking lot. For more information contact: Dan Mason from KOH at 775-830-2780. The KWYL (Wild 102.9) location will be in front of the Lawlor Events Center on the sidewalk. Look for the Wild tent and the Wild Jeep. For more information contact: Aaron Klatt at Wild 775- 530-0430. Additionally, Saturday November 19 and Sunday November 20: KBUL and KKOH will be in front of the Wal-Mart Supercenter at 4855 Kietzke Lane (next to Sam’s Club) from 12pm-6pm.
