CARSON CITY, NV - One of the two men involved the attack of a 101-year-old World War II veteran will face a jury trial and the other has had his sentencing delayed.
Robert Hernandez will face a jury trial beginning October 6th after pleading not guilty to robbery against a person over the age of 60.
Jordan Burkhart pleaded guilty to the same charge and was scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 26. That has been delayed and Burkhart will now learn his fate on Sept. 30.
Detectives say both men forced their way into Sorrentino's home, attacking him and ransacking the house. They got away with a watch, a pocketknife and a wallet containing $30.
