RENO, Nev. -- A guard rail prevented a possible drunk driving crash from being much worse. The accident happened before 5pm near Plumb and McCarran in Reno.
Reno Police Department (RPD) officials say the driver appears to have fallen asleep while driving. They say the car went off the road and crashed into a guard rail. Emergency crews took the driver to the hospital.
RPD officials confirm alcohol is a factor. No word on the man's injures and no word on the extent of charges he will face.
