RENO, NV - Reno's largest Latino heritage celebration will take place this weekend at the GSR.
Los Compadres restaurant will be presenting the entertainment at the all ages event for the third year in a row. An estimated 40,000 people are expected to show up and enjoy live Latin music, dance and performances.
Aside from music and dance, there will be amateur boxing bouts, high flying motorcylce stunts, Mexican wrestling, Ms. Cinco de Mayo contest and more.
For kids, there will be a playground with a bounce house and giant slide, as well as face painting.
The GSR will also host entertainment by several Cinco de Mayo performers inside the casino after the event ends.
The event takes place May 5th-6th from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Adimission and access to all scheduled entertainment is $5.00, children 12 and under and seniors are free. All proceeds will benefit Nevada Hispanic Services.
