RENO, NV - Getting to the Reno Rodeo may be a challenge this year due to I-80 road construction with lane restrictions and the closing of the eastbound Wells Ave offramp.
Reno Rodeo organizers are asking fans to have patience getting to the rodeo, waiting in traffic to enter the grounds and then find a parking spot. Many fans buy their tickets the same day as the rodeo performance and lines may be longer than usual at the ticket office.
Organizers encourage fans to get to the rodeo early and are offering gifts nightly to the first 500 vehicles that pass through the parking gate between 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm.
Tickets for any rodeo performance may be purchased in advance. Tickets are available at www.renorodeo.com or call Tickets West 1-800-325-7328. Tickets range in price from $12 - $25 based on seating and performance date. For more information please call 775-329-3877. The Reno Livestock Events Center is located at 1350 N. Wells Ave., Reno, Nevada, 89512.
Reno Rodeo attendees are encouraged to use alternate routes to get to the Livestock Events Center during construction on I-80. The I-80 eastbound Wells Ave. on and off ramps and the Fourth St. off ramp are closed as part of the I-80 Design Build Project. Drivers are encouraged to use the following alternate routes.
