RENO, Nev. (AP) - Republican political strategist Karl Rove has agreed to give the keynote address next month at an economic development forum in Reno.
The former deputy chief of staff to President George W. Bush spent part of his youth in neighboring Sparks and attended Sparks High School. He'll address the Directions 2012 conference in Reno on Feb. 2.
The event sponsored by the Reno-Sparks Chamber of Commerce runs from 6:45 a.m. to noon at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino.
Tickets are $70 for chamber members, $100 for non-members and $40 for students.
