RENO, NV- For the twenty-seventh year, RTC’s New Year’s Eve Safe RIDE program is again sponsored by local community partners underwriting the free service on RTC transit services from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. on New Year’s Eve.
The public can ride for free on RTC RIDE, RAPID, CONNECT and SIERRA SPIRIT during these hours with extended service available on many routes to make it a safer holiday celebration, a great alternative to driving for everyone.
This year's partners: Northern Nevada DUI Taskforce, St. Mary’s Hospital, Reno
Media Group, KOLO‐TV Ch. 8, Wood Rodgers, Inc., Club Cal-Neva, Washoe County Honorary Deputy Sheriff’s Association, REMSA, Reno Firefighters Local 731, Morrey Distributing, the RSCVA, and AMEC all generously donated to the free service.
