RENO, NV - Sudden cardiac arrest is one of the leading causes of death in the US. It claims nearly a quarter of a million lives every year. In an effort to improve survival rates, REMSA is offering free Sidewalk CPR classes in locations around Reno and Sparks through June 7th.
They say the compression only training takes just 3 minutes, but could save the life of a loved one. Educators say the techniques are simple but many people are afraid to try. The free training gives you a chance to get comfortable with the action by practicing on the torso of a dummy. You don’t have to sign up to participate, just show up at one of the locations listed below.
