RENO, NV -- The Nevada Supreme Court and the State Bar of Nevada are joining lawyers and community partners for National Celebration of Pro Bono Week.
It runs from October 21 - October 27. People who need legal advice on civil matters including family law, bankruptcy, foreclosure, landlord/tenant matters, and many other consumer questions can visit one of several free legal aid events.
Volunteer attorneys will be available to provide information and answer questions.
The following events are Wednesday:
Carson City - "Ask-A-Lawyer", Supreme Court Law Library (201 S. Carson Street), 9:00AM - Noon.
Carson City - "Mortgage Foreclosure Education Clinic", Carson City Library (900 Roop Street), 3:30PM - 5:00PM.
Reno - "Family Law Self-Help Forms Completion Clinic", Second Judicial District Court, Room 116, 10:00AM - 6:00 PM.
