RENO, Nev. -- Saturday's morning fog prompted airlines to delay and cancel a number of flights in and out of Reno-Tahoe International Airport.
Airport spokeswoman Heidi Jared tells KOLO 8 News Now four departures and four arrivals have been canceled so far. She says about a half-dozen other flights were delayed. Most of those affected were Southwest flights.
Jared says the inconsistency of the fog and the resulting variability of visibility are the primary concerns on days like these.
