Firefighters Help Save Homes in Lemmon Valley

RENO, Nev. -- Firefighters helped save homes from fire in Lemmon Valley late Friday night. Flames were first reported around 10pm near homes on Palace Drive.

While homeowners were worried -- one viewer even reported he was watering down his property -- Reno Police Department officials tell KOLO 8 News Now there were no evacuations ordered.

As of 11pm Friday, the fire was not fully contained but homes were no longer threatened.
